I'm back from the much awaited phuket trip which added more wrinkles to my face during the planning. haha! but well..i guess it's all worthwhile. we all enjoyed ourselves. (:
After some sun and splash, we went for some arabic lunch.
quite nice and cheap as well..something that's new to me. nv tried arabic food before. the nan was big! and the dishes that we ordered were relatively small. haha..but i enjoyed the lunch. (: After that, Calvin and glendon went to find spectacles shop while me and sooboon went for our long awaited manicure. Cheap cheap cheap! After that went back to the hotel to meet the guys..bathe and rested for awhile. den me and calvin decided to go to their night market..cos it was getting a lil boring. managed to get somethings there. must really bargain. We got 2 caps, a dress and a leather wristband thingy. All at quite a good price.
Met up with sooboon and glendon after that for roadside dinner..which was really good. (: The mango shake and the phad thai! The thought of it makes me drool. haha! Rest for awhile and it was time for MASSAGE!! my favourite! hee..
we had 1 hour thai massage and 1 hr aromatherapy! love the oil massage..so relaxing. unlike the thai one..crack here crack there. den whenever they massage the thighs..i'll have to bear with the ticklish-ness. haha! after that, we went for some drinks at the pub near our hotel. Just sit and talk..and try their cocktails. We had magarita, pink lady, pina colada and bloody mary! and the 4 of us all red red..cos of sunburnt plus the effect of alcohol! lol!
Day 3 (14 March):
Last day of our trip..and i really think that it's too short. haha!
Today is just mostly shopping..Woke up as late as possible, den packed our lugage and checked out. Went shopping for the whole day until 5plus..befroe returning to the hotel to wait for the guy to come pick us up to the airport. We took a tuktuk back. I tink i stil prefer tuktuk to comfy taxis. It's more fun i feel. hahaha.. Dint get much things when shopping too..only a top and some undergarments i tink. quite sad. and The mall is BIG! (quoted from the guys) too bad we dint hav the time to shop..maybe next time ba. HAHA! that's about all for our trip. I tink we had really good food and great time. Now..saving up for next trip! (:

Let's rewind..
First day (12 March):
Woke up super early around 5plus to prepare and daddy went to pick the rest up at 6.30. It may be damn early..but we were all super energetic. hahaha!
Changi Airport Terminal 2 Row 11. I still remember.went in and there was a SUPER LONG queue for check-in. Then this staff were gathering all the late check in for another flight to shenzhen or somewhere..and calvin went: free ah? hahaha! and there we go..on the silkair flight to Phuket sunny island!

After 1.5hrs, we're finally here at Phuket airport. den sooboon let us listen to this ringtone of hers. something to do with thailand airport de. damn funny..We collected our bags and looked for our driver holding our names. We all think it's damn cool. LOL! yup so 4 of us to a 9 seater van with private tour guide and driver. SHIOK! went for the complimentary half day tour..got clothes, lots of dried food and also went for elephant trekking. After that got to feed the elephants. i tink the baby elephant super cute! (:
they had quite a few other things at the activities centre..but we felt that it wasnt really worth it..so we skipped. And soon after, we reached the beaches. saw kata and karon beaches as well. super pretty! we were all wowed. hee..den finally we reached patong and checked in to Hotel Ibis. Quite a nice hotel..Small and cosy..and quite accessible. (: We left the hotel and went to look for lunch..stomach all growling like siao. We walked and walked and walked..den finally we came to some ulu mama place and had some chinese food. it's cheap la..but not very nice i tink. whatever..we were all damn hungry to even bother. yup..den we walked along the roads and went for gelato icecream! damn nice..and cheap! B195 for 4scoops. went back to hotel, bathe and rest before heading out for food again. haha! SEAFOOD DINNER! i stil miss the prawns till now.
ate alot alot and it was roughly about S$30 per pax. super worth it! (: We were so full until we decided to go to the beach for a walk. it was really peaceful at first..when we just sit and stargaze. after sometime..we decided to walk. took out my camera and started taking footprints photo. den camwhoring begins. LOL! we were abit high..esp sooboon! haha..ya. but we had lots of fun and laughed really hard.
Day 2 (13 March):
2nd day was practically spent at the Patong beach. Loves the sea, the sand, the waves..EVERYTHING! (other than the toilet) We wanted to do water sports esp snorkeling. but dint know where to go..so instead we couldnt resist the sea and the waves and went into the water. (: the guys went off first..den me and sooboon, being so excited, we just happily walked into the sea with no caution. den suddenly the wave crash..and we got washed and tumbled onto the beach again! hahaha damn funny. the waves were really big. I got tumbled ALOT of times..like washed in and out in and out. And they kept laughing at me. but it was really fun. Got tired after sometime out at sea..trying to resist the waves..so we came back to shore and suntanned. The guys just rested for awhile before heading back to sea. Me and Calvin went for parasailing as well..I got persuaded by him..but dint regret it. (: Also, got to sit by the beach and just talked with calvin..which i tink it's really nice. Suntan, get washed by small waves and talk at the same time. Something that we cant get in singapore.
